The Happy Tears blanket pattern is a beginner friendly crochet pattern that includes step by step instructions to help you make your own Happy Tears blanket. You can make your blanket whatever size you wish - the pattern gives two main size examples, a baby blanket and a single bed sized blanket, but it also gives information on how to make your blanket whatever size you would like.

The pattern is suitable for beginners, but some prior experience following a pattern is recommended.
This is the UK version, and is written in UK crochet terms.

To make a Happy Tears blanket you will need:
• either double knitting yarn - for a baby blanket you will need approximately 400g, and for a single bed sized blanket about 1000g.
• a crochet hook in your preferred size (either a 4 or 4.5mm for the dk version, and a 5 or 5.5mm for the aran version)
• a yarn needle for sewing in your ends
• scissors

The James C. Brett Top Value DK colour schemes used from Wonder-wool are listed in the pattern, but you can use whatever colours you like!
